The differences between CSC and VSC NOA 2's

Sorry man. I was just down from 12/24 to 01/12. Plan is to go back in time for my son's first birthday in April :) It's not easy. I am just lucky that I work for a tech company that allows me to do a lot of remote work. Otherwise there is no way I could accumulate enough leave to keep going.

Jesus, I am green with envy! Our son is the big ONE in April too.. Unfortunately my fiance and I just don't have the funds to deal with a wedding, visa fees, house stuff AND a plane ticket back to Aus for his son's birthday. It's heartbreaking! We were sure I would be in the US by mid April but it doesn't look like that will be happening at all. Make the most of your visit, cherish it. I am sure you will anyway, but I just wanted to say it :) lucky lucky!

The data for January is in...CSC logged a whole 574 NOA2 in January. Other than last months pittifull 484, this is lower than any month, at either service center, in the past 2 years

VSC? they had a record 4439 NOA2's. Higher than any month at either service center in the past 2 years. Yes, that is almost a factor of 10 higher than CSC.

So don't fall for any BS lines like " last year, it was reversed". No, it was not like this at all.

I just wanted to say thanks so much for these data updates.. They've been amazing to read... In the most depressing way. I hope they start getting their act together ASAP!

Sorry to cause envy. I wish everyone could be with their loved ones :) Keep the faith.

Could it also be that the differential between VJ & UCIS figures is not all K1 Visa applicants are members of VJ or are even aware of VJ....But I do belive that DACA applications have influenced the slow down of CSC hence the transfer of some DACA applications to Texas, which I suspect is a move to silence the critics by a sudden rise in approvals...Just my 2 cents worth to an interesting debate.

Of course not all applicants are VJ members, but it is ~5% of VJ members that have a timeline vs the actual applicants (based on USCIS data). If you were taking a survey, you'd kill for a sample representing 5% of the population.

Is there any reason that the people on VJ are not representative of the whole population of applicants? If so, that could skew the results. But in terms of USCIS processing or accepting applications, I don't see how those numbers would be influenced by the fact someone has a timeline on VJ.

Sure, there is going to be an error, as it is not a consistent % of people at any given month, as well as timeline errors/non compliance in updating timelines, but the correlation is there.

With CSC being so slow, there is now 10% of August filers here on VJ. So, it will be very noticeable if they ever start processing late July & August filers even at a slow pace.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)
