Hi everyone. I would like to know if I can just present the 2011 of his 1040. He has a small business and his accountant havent accomplished the one for 2012. He told me the deadline of that is on April. My interview is on Feb 20.....

The CO will know that 2012 taxes are not finished yet. It is better to have three years of tax info so 2011, 2010 and 2009 would be best to submit. Tax transcripts from the IRS are better than the 1040's but I'm afraid it's too late to get those in time so you'll have to go with the 1040's. And have copies of his W-2's if he has them. hello there,

i had my interview last Feb.7 in USEM..I gave my fiance 2011 1040 and W2..it was okay:) they knew that 2012 tax filling is not over yet..so they will expect 2011 tax return..I brought just a copy of my fiance tax return..No problem with that!:)

July 25,2013--USCIS received my AOS packaet

July 31, 2013-Email/text notication from USCIS

August 1, 2013- Check encashed

August 5, 2013-Received NOA1's in the mail.

August 9,2013- Received my Biometric Appointment Notice in the mail.dancin5hr.gif

August 15, 2013. Done with my biometric..(walk-in in Local USCIS in Philadelphia)

October 2, 2013- Approved EAD and AP.
October 13, 2013-Recevied my Combo Card( EAD and AP) through mail.

November 14, 2013- Received a Letter of Potential Waiver Interview in the mail.

January 14, 2014- Approved Green Card date. Anniversary date of my 2-year Green Card.

January 23, 2014- Received my green card in the mailbox.

Reminder:

I have to apply for ROC of my 2 year green card within October 20, 2015 to December 2015.

Yes the won't ask for 2012 since it is not the tax deadline. You can order tax transcripts online and it will arrive within 2 weeks usually.

Mr Smiley :) thanks for the link. So its either 1040 or taxt transcript right? :) I guess we will stick with the 1040 since we dont have much time to wait for the tax transcript. I hope they wont ask anything more.
