HELP!

I mailed my I-129 on November 8 via Priority Mail along with delivery confirmation to the Texas Service Center. When I dropped off my package I recieved a tracking code and checked online to see if it was delivered the USPS and this is the message I received:

We attempted to deliver your item at 1:04 PM on November 9, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

I contacted the Post Office to schedule a redelivery and they told me that my package has already been delivered and a notice was left because it's a PO Box address and the recipient should go and pick up the package.

So does that mean when someone sends a package to the TSC office TSC receives "a notice" and then TSC goes to the Post Office to pick up the package??

Im going a bit paranoid...something isn't right. I thought I would schedule a redelivery but the person on the phone from the US Postal Service reassured me that TSC will receive it?!?!?

Relax. Your package will be accepted tomorrow. This is typical procedure at the service centers.

Me, too. Don't fret~they'll get it!! Mine took longer because they left a notice on Friday and the Monday was Labor Day...but they will definitely get it!

Same here. My package was picked up the next day, and I just got my NOA2 a couple of days ago.

I posted the exact same question when this happend to me... Don't worry, they pick up all the packages once a day from the P.O Box in the early am. Yours will be picked up on Monday since today is a federal holiday. Welcome to the waiting journey
