I am currently in law school and I am getting ready to submit the K1 packet for my fiancee's visa (she is from Mexico). As I am a currently a full time student my only income is from student loans as I can't work. I can get my parents to co-sponsor but I have read on here that that may be a problem. All you visajourney vets out there what should I expect? Will any of this be an issue? Thanks for answering my questions.

You will first be sending the I-129F petition. It will take months for that to be approved, and then your fiancee can apply for a K-1 visa at the consulate in Juarez. That is when the financials will be needed. Not sure what you read but I have not really heard of problems with people using a co-sponsor there. You will fill out your I-134, list your income and the source. Provide most recent tax transcript plus proof of income. State that you are full time law student and your expected graduation date. Have one parent fill out their own I-134. Choose the one with enough individual income for their own household size plus your fiancee. Have them provide their most recent tax transcript plus their W-2 to show their own income, letter from employer and/or most recent pay stubs to prove current annual income. They must also provide proof of being a USC or LPR.
