Hey there, brand new, figured I'd give a shout.

I'm the petitioner, an American citizen by birth (from Minnesota), and my wife who is doing the immigrating is a Bulgarian citizen. I'm sort of late registering; her I-130 was approved a few months ago and I just yesterday submitted the I-864 to the NVC. But hey, better late than never, right?

For me, I'm 24, in the U.S. Air Force, and currently posting this from the Middle East where I'm currently deployed, which is making the immigration process only slightly less preferable than having a no-anaesthetic tooth pulling. But hey, we're plugging along, so it's not all bad.

For my wife, she is 25, and as mentioned, a Bulgarian citizen. If she decides to register, I'll let her do her own intro, but she's a freshly graduated university student who is currently making a living taking care of our cat and three fish while waiting for all the paperwork to go through.

We met online on an MSN mass-chat in 2009 and tied the knot in Bulgaria in her hometown just this past June (we were married three years to the day of our first chat). The I-130 was submitted in August, and I also filed an I-129F, but the I-130 was approved before it, so that was a lot of fun for nothing lol.

I chose my SN Khal_Drogo after the Game of Thrones character. My wife got me addicted to that show (forgive me, I did not read the books), and I took to lovingly referring to her as my Khaleesi, so I figured better SN than most of the others I could come up with lol.

But anyways, that's my short and barely-descriptive story and I'm sticking to it. Much appreciated and I look forward to spending some time here, asking questions, and no doubt having at least one full-blown panic attack on the boards. :P

Thanks!

I am the USC.

The member "Khaleesi" is my beautiful wife.

Good luck to you in your journey. On a side note, you have to read the books, they are amazing (and you will totally understand the show way better once you do)!

If they were it would make a terrible menu lol.

We usually refer to the fish as Triple D; two of them we got at our wedding (every table had a goldfish, and our table had two), and we named them, like my SN, Drogo and Daenerys. We later got an algae eater that my wife mysteriously named Dawson for some reason, so it's Triple D lol.

Thank you. :)

Our wedding and reception was in Pazardjik, her home town.

And I only look good because we had an amazing photographer; it was well over 40 degrees C that day, and it was on the rooftop garden of the Jor-Daniel Hotel, so there was no shade or anything lol. An Air Force mess dress is pretty much pure wool and polyester; I was cooking alive lol.
