Its not complicated and its her one and only son. His name is already in the Part 1-Biographic Data no. 29 but not in the 31b. Yah, apple21 is right need to file I-130 . she's waiting for the photocopy of his passport and some IDs in case the embassy will ask. Thanks apple21 for your advice..

Mom can file i-130 now, she will only need to include a photocopy of her green card (front and back) and son's original NSO BC.

Mom will mail the i-130 to the USCIS lockbox facility:

If she's going back to the Philippines in July, she can get her son a Philippine passport. http://passport.com.ph

The child's passport will not be needed until later, on the NVC stage of the petition.
