I just wanted to ask if anybody knows the situation with Vermont? I am a July 2012 filer (K1 visa) and next week, according to my timeline I should hear something but i'm seriously not holding my breath. :/

I know there are probably several posts but I haven't been on here for a while.

It's so hard at the moment, like I know it is for others. My fiance hasn't seen his year old son since last March. It will be 6 months since hearing anything from my NOA1.

If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Sinead

I haven't heard anything. I am a July filer as well (July 23 NOA1). I have just seen on the USCIS website that it says VSC is working on June 4. I know that they have approved some July filers. I hope we get our NOA2s this month so we can all be with our loved ones as soon as possible. This waiting is very tough. Hang in there

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

I filed in June and was just approved on the 8th after receiving an RFE in the middle of December. No advice, really. Just be patient. So it took about 7 months to get to the NOA2 when all is said and done. If you go past that point, then I would worry.

Call the USCIS center and ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR. The supervisors can access other information that the front screeners cannot. The supervisor may have new information that your application has actually already been processed. This happened to me.

Thank you all for your encouraging words. I hope my time will be soon.

I will definitely keep the Supervisor information in my mind. My timeline keeps saying the end of January, so I will wait until then and see what happens.

I did this through an attorney, so I am assuming that she will have to ring on behalf of me?

nope, the petitioner can call anytime during USCIS waiting.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I have now officially hit the 5 month marker--153 days now since I received my NOA1 on 22nd August 2012. It is strange because so far, I knew that the average processing time is about 5 months, but now I have actually hit that 5 month marker, I feel slightly scared and worried for some reason. Please, Go Vermont Go.

Is it just me... or does Vermont seem to have slowed to a crawl. Tuesday was a busy day, but only two fiance petitions approved in the last few days. Yes I know that the information on Igor's List only reflects the members of VJ and then only those who update their timelines... but what's going on???? Seems the answer is 'not much'. ARRRGGG!
