Hi vj family.. I finally received ny EAD last week Friday.. Time to job hunting.. Lol.. I'm getting worried because it has been 28 days since my status online for my I-485 changed to testing and interview.. It says;

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I called uscis yesterday and they are no help.. Is there any out there who had the same experience as mine?

Yes, same situation here. Our I-485 went to scheduling the very beginning of December and we haven't heard anything since. At least my husband now has his EAD/AP card, but would be nice to know when the interview will be so we can schedule upcoming plans around it. Where is your local office?

9/21/2012 Stamp on passport expired

9/28/2012 Mailed I-130 & I-485 packets to Chicago Lock box via USPS Priority

10/2/2012 Received Date

10/4/2012 Notice Date

10/9/2012 Received text & email notifications for NOA (4 forms)

10/12/2012 Received hard copies of NOAs (all 4 forms- I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

10/15/2012 Received NOA with Biometrics Appointment

10/30/2012 Completed Biometrics (completed on date assigned)

12/11/2012 EAD & AP Approved

12/20/2012 EAD/AP Combo Card Arrived

2/6/2013 Notification for Interview

3/15/2013 Interview- APPROVED!!!! :)

Here in Denver Colorado.. My friends who filed their AOS later than mine has been scheduled for interview already.. As well as the person I met here in vj who's living in the same state.. I'm so thankful I got my combo card but it makes me anxious why no interview scheduled yet.. Would be nice to know the date, even though it'll be a month or so from now. At least I'll have a peace of mind knowing everything is set..

Like you said, you do have your EAD/AP documents. Your appointment letter should be coming soon.

Does the US citizen Spouse have to go to the interview? My spouse can't travel to the nearest interview site for medical reasons, so we have held off mailing our AoS paperwork.

It is a general requirement listed on the AOS appointment letter checklist.

I am patiently waiting.. Still no interview date. No letter as well.. I'm hoping to hear from USCIS soon.. God willing..

I have the same issue. Our case was transferred/last touched back in July. I'm trying to log a ticket for it. We have the combo card, too, but it's getting a little ridiculous now. :(

I have the same situation as you. The good thing is that I got the EAD.

It have been more than one month since the online status changed to "Schedule for interview", I hope the notice letter can come earlier.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

same here kathy, december 18 my online status ( testing and interview ) still waiting the notice.

Have you got approve for your EAD yet?

AOS

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.
