It is not related to F2A filers. It benefits Immediate relatives of US citizens and those IRS stayed here longer or illegally.

It is not related to F2A filers. It benefits Immediate relatives of US citizens and those IRS stayed here longer or illegally.

Agree. Also, it has no effect on F2A visa processing timings. It's only for the immediate relatives of US citizens to stay longer here after theie I-130 is approved and awaiting a final interview.

Spouse has B2 visitor visa and successfully visited USA twice.

Mine says processing at NVC too. I guess all the completed cases pending on consulate interview go into this bucket.

By the way, it looks as if the system is still under test run. Cz I chose Immigrant category and enter the GZO number, the system's response says non-immigrant visa update... Anyone sees the same issue?

mine says "PROCESSING AT NVC"

My status for our k1 said your search did not match any data. What's that mean?? And can someone please tell me what nvc does? I thought they just mailed our stuff to the embassy in Lagos. Now I'm worried we have to wait on another approval from nvc. I dont know where our package is. We got the noa2 April 15. I'm really confused and don't know what I'm suppose to be doing now.

After the immigrant visa petition filed in the U.S. has been approved by USCIS, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next steps in the process. The NVC collects immigrant visa application(s) with supporting civil documents and Affidavits of Support with supporting financial documents, as well as the required fee payments for U.S. Embassies and Consulates abroad in advance of the visa interview.

Step 1: Establish Communication and Register an Address and Agent

Step 2: Pay Fees

Step 3: Establish Financial Support

Stage 4: Submit Visa Application & Supporting Documents

Stage 5: Review and Interview Scheduling by the NVC

Stage 6: Visa Interview at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate Abroad

I just got billed for the AOS fees tho

04/25/2013 - Received case #'s and IIN

04/25/2013 - Set up e-mail addresses

04/29/2013 - AOS fees requested & paid

04/29/2013 - Received DS-3032 form

04/29/2013 - Sent DS- 3032 e-mail template

05/02/2013 - AOS fees shows as PAID

05/07/2013 - AOS package sent off

05/10/2013 - DS-3032 email accepted

05/13/2013 - IV Processing fees requested & paid

Our case is complete on February 22 and it's show status process at NVC. A week later I check the ds-260 immigrant visa and alien registration application this is show up "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error. " I guess this is how you check if your case is complete or not. If not complete they will let you access the invoice payment.

I don't know in our case I can't access the immigrant visa alien registration till our case is forward to the consulate which is after they scheudle my interview . Even you log in invoice its said your case has forwared to the us consulate where you intend to apply for your visa immigrant . My case is f3 Edited by Duy Nguyen
