how long does it takes for a form I-130 will be approve and how much? what are the requirements for filing this Form? pls response. thank u

It takes several months for an I-130 to be approved, usually 4 to 6, though depending where you file, and the circumstances of your individual case, it could be a little less or much more.

The requirements for filing may be found here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=c67c7f9ded54d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

$420, time varies depending on location the file is sent to. 4-12 months

It also depends on who is filing the I-130 and who the relative is that you are filing for. Both I and srey answered as if you are a US citizen filing for a spouse; all other visa process take longer--in some cases years longer. If you are not a USC and/or you are not filing for a spouse or minor child, you will likely need to wait longer.

My husband file I-130 7 months ago and until now there's no information from Vermont Service Center, I don't know why it takes too long for them to approve. My husband really disappointed with VSC, because one friend approved already for only 4 months of waiting, maybe because their I-130 sent to California Service Center?
