Got RFE from EAD Combo?

Today, I got an RFE for both I-765 and I-131 because of missing proof for pending AOS. It is really weird since I mailed three applications altogether. It doesn't make sense to me since USCIS is the authority who is processing all three applications and NBC is currently processing them all. How come they couldn't check whether I have pending I-485 or not? It is so silly.

Strange. Did you use code category (c )(9 ) on the I-765? Just send back the RFE with a copy of your NOA receipt notice from filing the I-485.
