Thanks. Biometric appointment went well today, in and out in less than 15mins! (Didn't do a walk-in as weather has been either super freezing or crappy!) Now onto the waiting again.... Still can't access my case online... am I the only one?

Good to hear your biometrics appoitnment went well.

I was able to access my case online about 10 days after submission. Hopefully you can access yours soon as well.

Hi, everyone! I had my biometrics in Kentwood, MI yesterday and it was supposed to be smooth but I forgot to bring my marriage certificate so they put in my maiden surname in the computer. Now I'm worried that I'll have to go through more paperwork after I get the green card coz of this.

So don't be like me! Bring your passport, appointment letter and marriage certificate. :)

How long did it take you guys to get the NOA1? Our package was received in Chicago on Jan 30 (as per fedex tracking) but no NOA1 yet... I'm probably just being too impatient right? I should get it at some point this week?

Checked out our case status on the USCIS site and it says

Testing and Interview

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Does this mean, we'll get letter for interview or was this for the biometrics? We did an early walk-in 2 weeks ago. And 30 days from what date, NOA1 or the Biometrics Appointment Notice?

Ours arrived Jan 29th and we got the NOA1 email at 8:45pm on the 31st. Yours should be very soon!

It seems you'll be receiving a date for the interview soon! Lol, not very clear about what date you should count the 30days from.. I guess it is from the date when they send the letter for the interview appointment, but if you do not receive it you won't even know when it was sent, haha! I would count 30days from today and give them a call in a month from now... hope you get it soon tho! :)

NOA1 Jan 16th and biometric this week on the 6th. It is going faster than I thought it would be. Let's hope the green card process will go as smooth as this one.
