It should be soon. Hoepfully by the time they send biometrics appointment the system woudl be updated.

Also, from the past years' trend, I think we (or our spouses) will all have they GC in hand by April. I think the process is jsut faster for Jan filers (I hope) :)

We sure hope so! I've heard they've added more service centers so I just hope that rumor is true :)

That would be awesome, but somehow I don't believe it would happen that quick.... I'm ready for a lengthy wait... if I get it sooner tho I'd be super happy! :)

Hey guys! Just checking in... we haven't officially sent in our AOS stuff, but I was preparing it last night, so I'll probably end up being a January filer, as long as I get my butt moving ;)

Still have to get passport photos done and finish filling out the affidavit of support... oh and make a cover page.

Do you guys think I should wait until I get my SSN in the mail before sending the package in? I went for it earlier this week, and they said it would be here in about 2 weeks time.

Any other advice?

SSN is not required for AOS but that's up to you

Okay KTandTommy got me motivated to work on the paperwork for my husband so we plan on being a January filer as well. I guess the honeymoon is over (literally and figuratively), back to immigration reality laughing.gif

Haha yay! I don't really want to get back to immigration reality, but I would like to start looking for a job at some point, so I guess it's a necessary evil! We can do it! ;)

Thanks! Pls let us know how it goes. Their office is an hour away from here so we don't wanna take chances. :( But it'll be good if we can go earlier since hubby isn't working next week. :/
