Who else filed AOS this month like me? I know it's still way too early but it's never to early to start this thread!!

Thanks Kate!! Yep finally we managed to send it!! It just got delivered today to Chicago!! Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly!!

My NOA1 date is Jan 2nd. So I am a Jan. filer too, received my biometrics appointment in the mail yesterday!

Hello fellow January filers!

Hubby and I filed his I-485 through our attorney on Monday Jan 7th. I will keep you posted on when i receive the notice from USCIS.

Filed based on approved I-130 with PD Sept 2010.

We've filed last Sat Jan 7. We've received 3 texts and our check was cashed already but no NOA1 yet in the mail.

We sent out the AOS application on last Monday Jan 7th. I just checked our bank account the checks were deposited not as checks but direct debit.

Yay! Will update when the notice is received.

I have a question actually, when they cash in the checks, does this mean the package they received is complete?

They still can send an RFE, if they need something extra..

Is any of you able to check the status online? (I know it's not very reliable but...)

Thank you for the response. Well i have not received the notice yet. Also we are filing through an attorney but of course i cannot wait to get our receipt number so i can follow everything closely, i am a bit of a control freak and he did not let us signup for electronic alerts...but i certainly will add this case to my portfolio.

It should be soon. Hoepfully by the time they send biometrics appointment the system woudl be updated.

Also, from the past years' trend, I think we (or our spouses) will all have they GC in hand by April. I think the process is jsut faster for Jan filers (I hope)
