That visa is good for 6 months. What have you been doing during the last 6 months? The purpose of all this is to get married. If your fiance still wants you then I would get on a plane ASAP. Once you enter the US you have another 90 days to get married. I do not know if extensions exist on this visa.

Based on your post, I gather that the K-1 petition was approved but there was no visa yet... right? coz your fiancee did not schedule an interview yet nor went to medical since he wants his kids to come with him and they are part of the petition too... right?

Generally, K-1 petition approval (or NOA2) can be extended...

please call this number:

"For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit's inquiry line at (632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185 during normal business hours, except between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m."

Just be patient though... coz it's really hard to get through

For more info, check this page: For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit's inquiry line at (632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185 during normal business hours, except between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.
