Also: the only way you can force someone with mental issues to get help is to call 911. Worry about yourself.

Furthermore, any competent psychiatrist is going to insist on a complete physical exam before giving out any medications. IF you had lots of time, I'd say 'get health insurance of any type', wait until it is valid (so they won't deny you for pre-existing conditions that you are about to uncover), then pay out-of-pocket for that 5000 scan, carry on. He's tried to kill you, so you don't have lots of time.

Stop worrying about him losing his job. Stop worrying about psych med side effects. Worry about yourself and you getting killed. You need to get help, you can't force him to get treatment.

It might help you if you print out what you've typed here and take it to any doctor/police appointments. Details are easy to forget when you are sitting in front of a doctor, and what you've typed suggests various psych possibilities --- none of which we can accurately diagnose! We especially can't give him a brain scan. As someone else said, it doesn't matter that they didn't find anything 3 years ago. Imaging has improved and his condition seems to have worsened. Time for a recheck.

i know ive never said anything in this topic, simply because i agree with most people's advice on here and also because i am neither a doctor nor a psychologist, so i can't say anything about your husband's problems. however, i've followed this threat and was shocked and worried about you at the same time!

just wanted to check in and see if everything is okay with you, since it's been a while that you last logged in....!

please let us know what you're up to and if you are alright - i bet theres more people than just me who are worried!

She did mention having issues with her laptop earlier. It is nice for her to check in though, so those praying for her know she's ok though.
