Just got NOA2 approved! Finally Got NOA1 from the NBC on Dec 21st (counting as Jan filing because I don't think they'll have done anything over Xmas) Transferred to the Memphis office and approved

Congrats. Welcome to NVC, we have been at NVC since July 31st and still are there, but at least we are out of USCIS. Woopieeeeeee.

Yes...mine was msc number...in the bottom of the recipt was missouri adress..so im guessing mine also went to nbc??

Same here, I wonder what that means..

i got my noa1!

"We" got our NOA1 yesterday:) filed on the 15th, they received on the 17th, NOA1 on the 22nd

Awww, great for you, guys :dance:

We still haven't gotten any notice about them receiving it. USPS has already delivered it last Jan 19. Check hasn't been encashed yet according to my husband's bank info. No e-notification from USCIS yet.

I wonder how long we have to wait... Or are we possibly getting an RFE this early that is why it is taking so damn long? :( i made a mistake with the G-325A

Hi everyone. I'm in the USA and my wife is in Japan. I mailed the I-130 this morning (Jan 24) to the Chicago Lockbox via USPS Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation. Hopefully this all goes smoothly.

Hi everyone. I'm in the USA and my wife is in Japan. I mailed the I-130 this morning (Jan 24) to the Chicago Lockbox via USPS Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation. Hopefully this all goes smoothly.

USCIS stage ( 66 days)

12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).

Jughead, let the waiting begin!

My husband finally got an e-notification saying ours went to the NBC. And it also has an MSC receipt number.

Which do I count as NOA1? Today or whatever date is on the hard copy when we receive it?

But.., yay! I'm happy they've finally acknowledged receiving it! :dance:

Checking in after a while :) Finaly got our case and IIN # after a month from NOA2.AOS fee is invoiced last night and also DS-3032 e-mailed.I got an auto response which didn't contain anything usefull so I was wondering how long will it take for them to either accept it or deny it? Or should I resend it now?

I did file mine in January too.. Sent out the I130 in mail on January 17, tracking the mail said it was recieved on January 19th, 2013 but today January 25th at 6:40am CST I got the text amd email about acceptance. Still havent seen the case updated on the uscis site. Still waiting..

Hello I am USC applied for my wife IR-1 visa on 1/14/2013, received receipt notice hardcopy (I believe NOA1 not sure) on 1/24/2013.

Notice says that application is in process, here is your receipt number and this is what you pay for following individual.

Not sure when I will get case number

Not sure why I haven't got email or text notice like others, even i provided information on form G1114

Yes, that is your NOA1. Look under receipt number. It should say MSCXXXXXXXX. Under that is you Priorty date.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

You would do it on uscis.gov.

You can track your case regardless of if you sign up, but when you sign up, you can see the last touched date as well as turn email and text notifications on in case the paper one you submitted gets ignored (it happens)

You are supposed to send copies with your I-130 and they do not have to be notarized.
