Passport Photo Expiry?

Hey there, quick question.

My fiance and I are unsure about something. I read ( http://travel.state.gov/visa/visaphotoreq/visaphotoreq_5334.html ) that my passport photo is fine as long as it's taken within the past 6 months. But my fiance said she swore she read somewhere in her part of the forms that it has to be within the past 30 days.

I've already sent her 2 different packages via express, and we both kind of want to avoid it a 3rd time if we can. The passport photo's we took were done Nov 27, so about 5 weeks ago.. is this "too late"?

And on a side note, do we need to send a copy of my (the beneficiary's) birth certificate in with the package? I'm seeing RFE's all over VJ about this issue, but I'm not sure if that's for the I-130 (my fiance is filing for the I-129F)

The information on the DOS website is correct in regards to passport photos. You're fine

Birth Certificate for the Beneficiary is not required to be sent in to USCIS with the I-129F petition.
