Hi guys!

I have a quick question about the I 134. I am unsure of what to put for question 11. "I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in item 3. If you check intend, indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions...."

I looked at the sample form and they had put something like "do not intend, N/A K-1 visa". Are you supposed to put do not intend if it's for a K-1 Visa? I just don't want to mess anything up!! : S Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it!

Welcome to the forum.

You can follow the example on the form. Numerous others have done so, and had no problems. Of course, it is your petition. Go ahead, be bold, make a decision.

Good luck.

For that question, you don't have to check either...you can leave it blank. In the space below you can write N/A K-1 VISA PROCESS.

Keep in mind that the I-134 is used for different visa types, not just K-1. For the K-1 it doesn't apply, for other visa types it will apply.

On my I-134 form, I did exactly that, I left the check boxes blank, and wrote N/A in the space below. No problems.

The example does not show 'do not intend' checked. It shows neither one checked. Follow the example form exactly. Do not check either and put exactly what it says on the line.

If it makes you feel better, you can also check 'I intend' and put 'K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE' on the line.
