Glad you enjoyed it. Wife and I are planning a trip to Windsor for next May.

Christmas was good, low key tonight, out for Chinese and a couple drinks for dinner and back home by 9:00. Can't remember the last time I saw midnight on New Years Eve. :lol:

Christmas was good, low key tonight, out for Chinese and a couple drinks for dinner and back home by 9:00. Can't remember the last time I saw midnight on New Years Eve. :lol:

We usually drive up through Windsor, but this time, we went through Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Super pretty drive and we were lucky to get good weather.

Low key tonight for us too. With the stress of the trip, and my birthday yesterday, and getting home and settled again ... we're not doing a damn thing. :lol: I will likely be in bed by 10 like an old lady.

We usually drive up through Windsor, but this time, we went through Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Super pretty drive and we were lucky to get good weather.

Low key tonight for us too. With the stress of the trip, and my birthday yesterday, and getting home and settled again ... we're not doing a damn thing. :lol: I will likely be in bed by 10 like an old lady.

I'm sure Sault Ste Marie is much better than driving through Detroit, anything is better than Detroit!

Did you turn out the lights when you left the 16th century?

Silly man! Lights don't work in the igloos. We Canadians just capture fireflies in the summer and keep them alive all winter by feeding them sugar water, and use those to light the country since whale oil is no longer readily available. It makes for quite a lovely ambiance - those little flickering amber glows against the translucent blue green of the ice, and of course the soaring arc of those wonderful Northern lights!
