Luckily, your passport has pin yin characters in it,

and the green card, marriage certificate, and court document are all in English.

Translation? NO la. bu bu bu..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Are you saying they won't spend too much time matching my name on the passport with the green card? I just don't know if they'll understand why I have a different name on my GC... :P

Sorry I'm asking so many questions, I'm just worried that they won't let me on the plane coming back to the States.

bring all the stuff previously mentioned.

They should be able to see the 'chain of evidence' on your name.

If they get confused, ask for the shift supervisor ..

Do note that Shanghai airport has better readers than BeiJing or Guangzhou...

I am the OP, my friend finally set up an account for me... I have been using hers for the past few days.

Thank you Darnell! I will be travelling through Shanghai Airport, I hope they're nice! I haven't been back to China for 3 years... My Dad wanted to add an endorsement for me on the passport, but now they make us get a new passport that has the chip inside. I just renewed my passport not too long ago and don't want to bother getting a new passport just for the name endorsement. Plus it has the controversial map...

I'm just like a point mass that can move through space but has no internal degrees of freedom.
