My interview is on January 17th. Is it best to do medical examination ona January 8th? what should be the time frame? and how long is the medical thing gonna be? Thanks in advance. Based on some K1 applicant's experience, it is good to have medical exam atleast a week prior to your interview date. sometimes the medical exam takes a day or 2. depends on the results too.. the medical exam is valid for 6 months though.. you might also want to meet our fellow Fil K1 applicants... at All About K1 on FB. you can ask questions to K1 applicants who had already went through the medical exam process and some already got their visas.

Thanks everyone. I read a post on Medical exam what to do and what to expect from one of our vjer ninjones. it was very detailed and informative. I will have my medical on the 8th of January. Best of luck to all of us. Hope we can be with our loved ones ASAP.

Tax transcripts don't have to be the originals. Scan and send via email. Why spend the time and added expense on mail when email is free?

whats the fastest courier to send docs from US to Manila PH? Interview is on January 17th and I still dont have the ITR. My boyfriend requested for it and was advised that he will get it after 5-10 days. Please help me.

Do we need a copy of his birth certificate, copy of his passport when going to the interview? does it have to be original BC?
