Thermite, where are you flying from? Those prices are absolutely ridiculous.

You can get a round trip to Cebu for around 13-1400. That's from Indianapolis, IN anyways.

I wouldn't pay those and if you need help finding tickets, let me know. I'll look for you because that's ridiculous. I'm not a travel agent or anything. I just know how to find stuff online for good prices.

Wichita Kansas Dallas Texas Korea Seoul and then Cebu its probably because Wichita is small airport but its the closest in range it would be a lot cheaper if I lived in Dallas Texas and I don't I also got quotes from 3 different Travel agents and looked online and they were all about the same. Orbitz was 1400 one way there and 2300 one way per person they had some cheaper but you have to make sure lay overs are not long or its just pointless the really cheap ones were lay overs of 6 to 7 hours .

When I flew to Philippines first time it was 1200 back in Feb and when I went to interview in Dec it was 1600 if I did it during Christmas week it was 4000 to 5000. I could fly fro Kansas City be cheaper but its 3 hrs away.

Jan 6th to Jan 10th (Her Visa expires Feb 1st) I already got it booked but just short trip to get her as I don't want to use all my vacation

Remember I am going to pick her up and have her come back with me so I would have to do one way there one way back for both of us or call them like Hank suggested but I already got tickets booked through a travel agency but I have to call when I get there to exchange her e-ticket because of Philippines regulations not sure what that is about

Using that site and searching that date is around 2200 not a bad site will bookmark for future trips thanks. It really depends on date and Feb March good times to go

I see what you're saying.

Well I'm glad you found what you were looking for and I wish you 2 the best :)

I hope that it is really cheaper to fly in March/April or if it will be the same price as you when I have to book since the bookings are always at the last minute when it comes to the Visa application. Wish I could see the future ;)

I did not have any problem, I went home while my wife and stepson still having their physical, for me round trip ticket and my fiancée and son 1way ticket, It was great because I spend time with the family for 2 weeks before their departure. You can only do the 1way thing with the help of the airlines reservation people it's cost arm and leg but that's how they can get their money worth.

My fiance plans to visit, attend my farewell party, and then haul me back to his icy tundra, too.

For some reason, I found a cheaper deal with booking 2 round-trip tickets (US -> PHL -> US).

The ticket from US to PHL in my name will be unused. Will this cause any issues?

I am (usually) the beneficiary.

It's best to fly on the outgoing flight rather than the return flight when you purchase with the intent to use only one way of a round trip. Many airlines may cancel the ticket if no one boards the initial outgoing flight. I would call the airline to check what their policy is and see if arrangements can be made for your situation.

Good luck.
