Delhi Visa Approval but then 221g

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and can shed light.

my father had his interview nov 6 and was approved, they kept his passport. However after a few weeks with no passport returned, we inquired and found out it was changed to 221g Administrative processing. There was no notification from the embassy about this at all.

Anyone been approved and then later had it changed to 221g?

if so were you able to get a reason for the change?

how long did it take for you to get approval?

Sometime it happens! AP has no timelimit. Could take few weeks to years. In Delhi, generally it is reported to finish AP within few months. But it all depend up to each individual, their case.
