Hi people i recieved my NOA2 on 6 Dec 2012 and now waiting for the packet 3 to arrive. My fiancee is about to send me all the documentation along with NOA2. Now we have a couple of queries regarding I134:

1: Q-11...should we answer it as NA(K1 Visa to Permanent residence)or we should write intend to and give details as all expenses to cover including boarding lodging, incidentals etc.

2: My fiancee has a employement verification letter from her employer stating she makes abt 38k a year which is above the poverty line. We showed the money in the bank account too which is not a very big amount, just a couple of thousand dollars. Also we have all the tax returns and pay stubs.. Now do we need to still get a letter from the bank stating the account opening date ,the balance in account and the amount credited during the year together with showing the credits in the account from the bank statement or only the first documentation is enough.

3: Do we still need to show bank statements for the entire year?

Please help us as we are really worried about it and need to prepare our packet asap.

Yes, following the example form is perfectly ok, or you can check 'Intend' and put "K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE(will provide all necessary expenses)" if it makes you feel more secure.

2: My fiancee has a employement verification letter from her employer stating she makes abt 38k a year which is above the poverty line. The tax returns, letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs is enough. No need for a letter from the bank.

3: Do we still need to show bank statements for the entire year?

No. Since your fiancee makes enough in income alone, there is no reason at all to list any assets. You can leave that part of the I-134 blank. No need for bank statements at all then. If she still wants to list her small savings anyway, she will need to provide documentation showing how much she has in the bank, but no need for a whole year's worth of statements.

Well thanks Kay for the wonderful information but dont you think the consulate may ask for a bank statement to look for the amounts credited. She is including the 3k dollar amount of saving in the I134 and an life insurance of 300K but we are not sure if we really need to print out all those statements.

You can provide what you like and feel comfortable with. You asked here, so I answered. Why show assets at all? They are not necessary if her income is well above the poverty level, which you stated it is. You do not list them, you do not have to show documentation of them. Simple as that.
