Is it even worth it to apply for a fiance visa while im attending school, but havent done army duty yet? My fiance lives in usa.. im living in Egypt and of course this country is very hard to get any visas accepted.. however i did travel to usa in July for a business internship for one month.. i just posted in the tourist visa forum, and im not sure i can prove strong ties besides my schooling... any advice on what i could do we have been together 3 years next march and been engaged for over a year.. we would like to get married in usa.. almost feeling like there will be no hope for us for a while.. :(

By definition you would not need to show strong ties for a K1.

You are welcome to apply for a K-1 visa. Although it may be hard it is not impossible, many people get visas from Egypt. You just need to make sure you have lots of proof of your relationship. It many help to ask in the embassy specific forum for more information about the Egyptian consulate.
