Hello Everyone,

I was just curious to know how many of you go through k-1 processingitis on the weekends :angry: . I tend to feel better during the week because I'm at work and I feel like there's a possibility that i'm moving on up in the processing of my petition. As soon as the weekend hits it's kind of depressing, It's all waiting at a stop light, you know all of the offices are closed...your file is just sitting in on a desk, DHL or at an embassy just staggering to be filed. I also hate the weekends because it becomes lovers lane, I went to the mall last today and I have to admit seeing all of the couples together made me miss my Michi. The three day holiday that begins next friday due to Veteran's day is going to be another torcher :o , another day without work for our federal agencie hhhaaaa. Okay just had to vent. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and that our loved ones are doing well on their side of the planet....it just gets a little lonely here as we wait to see them again. Don't get me wrong, the phone calls and the chats are great, but I would trade that in any day for the chance to be in my baby's arms again.

Take care

I hear you and it's good to vent every now and then. :):)

I find the weeks easier too but must admit I am missing my fiance a lot more this time since my return from visiting him two weeks ago. I just try to keep busy and healthy. I am really glad we have VJ here.

Hang in there, it will be over soon.

I normally don't pay much mind to weekends, but this weekend in particular I am feeling the stress. I've had a few people who were filing buddies and people who've filed after me being approved this week, so I was hoping I was next in line. Even a touch would've been a positive step for me at this point, even if it means nothing than them spilling a cup of coffee on my petition.

I know, I know, I haven't been waiting long compared to a lot of people. So I'm trying not to expect anything. But I finally have my first taste of 'Everyone's being approved before me' and it's terribly frustrating.

And I've been having a bad week in general, so that's probably not helping.

I actually look forward to the weekends...because when I'm at work - sometimes missing Jinky and the process itself would distract me. On the weekends is when we can talk the most. :star:

I've found it helpful for me to pace myself. More than likely, it's going to be late February before she's here. As much as I miss her, I'm actually anxious about how fast the time will go from now until then because I have so much to prepare.

Yeah I think If we could talk more on the weekends it would make the situation better, calls to Cuba are just outrageous. So we just stick to chat. Good luck with everything!!!

Ah, ok. Hope you can chat via the internet with webcam then. :star:

I'm looking forward to this Thanksgiving because I'll be driving to Arizona to be with my parents and brothers. It's things like that, that keep me going.

I remember how that felt...and although we did get a lot more time to chat/talk on the phone on weekends (feel for ya there with the cost!!!) I understand what you mean about 'nothing moving' during that time too. I know it's really rough some days, but hang in there...you day's comin'!!! (F):) M.

 Huh? I Looked at your timeline... and it says your application was approved by CSC in only 15 days. Is that a mistype or misprint? I've never seen anyone approved at CSC in that short a time.

Yeah it was an amazing approval....I'm still in shock, but it plays with your mind though, because I think it makes you more impatient. I'm thankful though
