Hello, I just got married a few months ago and we sent our package off for his AOS and Employment authorization and all the forms we got a reject notice today it says

Charbel J. Farah

This is in reference to the I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, you submitted. Your I-765, fee, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reason(s):

The check amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. Please review the Form Instructions for fee information Please resubmit the application/petition package with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page.

You must sign your application in the signature block if you are 14 years of age or older. You parent ot guardian may sign their name in the signature block if you are younger than 14. Your signature ot a parent's or guardian's signature in the "Signature of person preparing form, if other than above" block is not a valid signature for this purpose. Please sign and send the application with the correct fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page.

Please be sure to complete the application fully, submit the appropriate fees, and include all required supporting documentation.

what does this meant im confused because on the signature part we put originally a green sticky over the signature box and signed it ais that what they want us to redo and also do we need to pay the fee as well because when we first sent it off i thought we did because we paid like 1500.00 dollars i thought that covers everything so are they saying we still owe them money for the form as well thats for all the help i appriciate it :P

EAD and AP fees are waived when filed with AOS, so total should be $1,070, as said by others. Write a new check, sign what is needed and sent back everything.

The guy that filled my paper work accidentally filled an additional 1-130 petion for forigen relative which was wrong we are only getting the AOS, travel docs and the employment authorization and about the green sticker he placed it over the part that says if someone filling this other than the applicat sign here which was wrong the guy who did my papers for me put green stickers everywhere we needed to sign and it was wrong so i think thats why it was rejected but im not sure!

thanks for all your help

Did you arrive on K-1 visa? Someone is helping you? Who? Why don't you ask that person what is wrong? You still didn't say which forms you sent and how much money?

seriously if you ask for help you need to give the details of your case and correct information or what you get for answers from people will be merely guessing. You have many here attempting to help you and it is still VERY unclear what you are asking. headbonk.gif
