Hello all,

I am a bit confused of my situation. My case is in HCM Consulate awaiting for the interview. I have been waiting for almost 3 months now, (2 months and 16 days). I have been writing to HCM consulate every 2-3 weeks and called NVC the same amount of times. Each time they said "pending, waiting to schedule for interview" however one time the lady from NVC or DOS (I forgot which one) said "the case is in administrative processing". At that time I didn't pay any attention to it since I thought it was normal but now after further research AP means there is something wrong (???). I am very confused because each time they all said "normal nothing wrong with my case". My question is how do I know whether my case is in AP?

The last email I got from HCM Consular regarding my interview date status

"To date, the beneficiary’s file has not been scheduled for a visa interview. Please note that our office schedules appointments for interviews in coordination with the State Department in Washington, DC and our workload considerations. Please contact us later for further information about the appointment date."
