RFE response getting nearly 60 days

Hi guys, I need some of your advises and help also, we are ahead of time. Because the CSC sent us an RFE last August, and we did reply on time and they received it on August 27, 2012. They said to wait within 60 days for the response, my problem is our 60-day waiting game is getting near by the 27th of October. Can someone please explain this to me why this is happening? I hope we could get an answer anytime now from the USCIS. We really missed each other especially our son who's longing for his dad's presence. Help us God. Please pray for us. Thank you so much for reading my topic and hoping to know more about you guys. Much appreciated.
