For I-130, I used black ultra fine tip sharpie to label all photos. Is that okay or do they require pencils? Also, should I label passport photos in pencil? Thanks.

Either. Just take care not to indent the photos so that the pictures are affected.

all the photos we have are digital. do they expect these to be printed out on photo paper like the good old days or can I insert images into something like a power point presentation (done chronologically and labelled) and then print out on regular A4 and assembled into a booklet?

instructions say use a pencil or black felt tip pen. Just use a #2 pencil and don't press too hard. When you say all photos you just need to send 2 2X2's of each party. If you send other photos such as wedding or you 2 together and it is for an I-130 they will just throw them away, these are not required and are useless at this time. They will however be useful in the interview.

Hi, that's how we did ours. Had about 6-8 photos on a page, then had 6 pages in total. Labeled the group of photos accordingly, i.e. July - August 2009, US visit. Printed them out in color.
