OP's husband is from CHINA. They do not permit dual citizenship. Filing N-400 is likely not an option for them.

Thanks for mentioning that. While we'd love to do anything to speed the process up, my husband still wants to retain his Chinese citizenship. It just makes things a lot easier for him to do business there and here at the same time.
