Living outside US with reentry permit, travelling to US with non immigrant spouse

Hi,

I got my green card through family on Jan 2011. I have been living outside of US since then, with a valid reentry permit. I have applied for my spouse's immigration on June 2011. Now we need to travel to US due to a family medical emergency, my wife applied for the US tourist visa and was granted. So we will be travelling to US together through buffalo border. Can there be any kind of problem? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

You should be fine, as she has a valid visa and you have a valid greencard.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
