hello Flosy i just googled filipino community in connecticut and it came up with a lot of links for your area im not from connecticut so im not sure about distance from you ,so just google search it and you will be surprised ....hope this helps you...

My wife and I live in Tennessee. We have been fortunate in that my wife met others from the Philippines at grocery stores, work, and church. You wouldnt think that the hills of Tennessee would have so many Filipinos, but they do! It was through our friend from church we heard about the Philippines American Association here, and went to their Christmas party. My wife doesnt talk that much with other Filipinos. She does stay in contact, occasionally, with our friend from church. But anyways, if you dont meet others from the Philippines by accident in daily life, then these associations, like the link I sent to you with many listed, should help.

Filipinos are the second largest Asian demographic in the US. You will find Fil-Am communities everywhere if you look hard enough. I suggest you ask your local parish priest. He'll be able to tell you if there are any other Filipinos attending services at local parishes.
