Approved!!! 234 day wait!!

YUP!! About damm time!! 234 days!!!

I'm happy but mostly just relieved at the moment. My stress level was peaked at 9.9!!!

It's a bitter sweet victory though!! No one should have to go through this for this long.

No 2nd RFE......only IMBRA!! not in Security checks.

They had all the evidence they needed, they just took their sweet azz time.

I actually just got home from my Congressman's office. She was peturbed I was bugging her again!!

I was there at 1pm and she changed her time frame again about my inquiry.

First she said she would be updated every 10 days.

Then mid Oct she said 30 days til we hear an update from the first inquiry.

Today she said 30-45 days which it said on the e-mail from CSC.

These people are friggin nuts! Now if I can just get out of CSC as soon as possible.

Therefore, it is safe to say that the petitioner will receive notice from the NVC regarding the visa application some time in very early December

Gonna try again.

I don't know what to say... I mean I know "Congratulations!!!" is at least one of the right words.... but - "Its about time!!!" seems to take some of the joy out of the occasion. This should have come alot earlier.

Best wishes for a speedy trip through the rest of the process. I think you should get some sort of expedited handling from here on out.

Congratulations Hornet!!!! It's wayyyyyy past time that you got your approval.

I'm glad you went to your congressman's office. You still have every right to be unhappy with this woman who has made the absolute minimum effort on your behalf and has been consistently rude and unhelpful. You should make a complaint about her to your congressman's office. You deserve expedited treatment in getting your petition to the NVC. I would make a complaint in a letter to her boss and to the Congressman himself. Unless she is running that office, you ought to be able to speak to her superiors and make them aware how, despite the fact that you were totally mistreated by the CSC, she provided minimal help and a terrible attitude to boot.

They are expecting you to wait until DECEMBER before you allowed to ask anyone a question and that's ridiculous. A little venting is in order here!
