You could always mix it up a little...

But it's really all about your personal choice, sacred or fun...I just pray the father/daughter dance is amazing and something you will always remember and cherish.

Hey buddy! Well I think is a very tough decision but once you hear your song you'll know immediately. For my father daughter dance we are dancing to Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. It has a lot of meaning to both my father and I. And for our first dance Lalo and I are dancing to Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. I think its a beautiful song and it fits our story perfectly.

Good luck and congrats I wish you two a life time of happiness! :D

such a nice song!

There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.

if we were the wedding sort, which we're not - or the dancing sort, which we might be (behind closed doors) i would have to pick "i'll be waiting". i must have listened to this song a billion times while we were apart.

A couple of songs that have meant a lot to me through this process

"I Wont Give Up" Jason Mraz

When we first filed I was very stressed, he wasn't allowed to visit so it was a difficult time for us. One day he said to me "Don't give up on me" I told him "Never!" I heard this song not long after that moment.

Another that seems to be appropriate for those of us still waiting...

"A Thousand Years" Christina Perri

Chorus:

"One step closer...

I have died everyday waiting for you

Darling don't be afraid

I have loved you

For a thousand years

I'll love you for a thousand more"

when you are typing your post, go to the last icon on the left side of the tool bar (it's like three tiny squares) and says "insert media" when you hover over it. you should be able to paste the url using that icon and have the video appear in your post.

oops. i see now smiley responded to you, and did a much better job explaining :P
