(L) Thanks for the support over the last while everyone...so many of you have sent PM's and words of encouragement in the other thread, but our computer is sooooooo slow right now(we need to reinstall windows) and I just don't feel up to answering them all individually at the moment. It's been hard the last few days thinking of Craig being gone for a month, and it was a very tense weekend for a lot of reasons, but now we just want to enjoy this week together before he goes. We've just been watching Dr. Who tonight..haha. I thought I would hate it, but, actually, I don't! Anyway, I think I would like to(in answer to Gimy's PM)/need to have a chat sometime next week after Craig goes...don't know how I'm going to be feeling then. Don't get me wrong..I know he(and WE!..for our relationship I mean)definitely needs this trip, and I don't begrudge it to him at all..there are just so many things going on outside of our relationship as well(but that being the main thing on my mind of course!) and then having him gone for four weeks just sounds overwhelming to me at the moment! :crying: He is hoping he will come back refreshed, invigorated, and ready to attack things here, if you know what I mean, and I really hope so too. I truly appreciate the unconditional support of so many of you here...you don't know how much it means..even if, as some love to say all the time.. ;) it IS just a message board. I think many of you feel that even though we're all rational, and we realize there are many things we don't know about each other..that's true...that we have come to mean more to each other than just a name on the screen as well. Thanks. (L)(F) Michelle(and Craig of course)

Aaahw Michelle (((HUG)))

I just read your posts in the other topic. It's been a rough ride for you guys.

It's such a shame that Craig couldn't keep his job while waiting to get his CDL.

Knowing about his problems adapting I'm sure his trip to the UK will be a morale booster, but of course the separation will be tough.

Hang in there , both of you, cuz you're such great peeps

Thanks everyone...I still check in for a few minutes most days; I just don't post too much at the moment...saw this had moved back up. I'm sorry to say it hasn't been a good week. We've had moments last weekend of barely speaking, and this week a friend of mine an hour 1/2 away was going through a great deal of problems and I was scared for her, and Craig and I weren't getting along anyway..so I went and spend a couple of nights with her. It was good to get away, but I was sad thinking of Craig leaving in just a few days and wishing we could be together. When I got home yesterday afternoon it wasn't much better, and we were just having a fight before he left to go to my mom/dads for a few hours(it was preplanned for just him to go out there). I have just as many faults as he does, but it is just heartbreaking for me at the moment..he is on his way back HOME ..where he has wanted to be all year..for a MONTH in one more day and I feel helpless. I am so annoyed and mostly hurt by so much right now, but at the same time I know he wants/needs/is going to(and wouldn't want him not to)to do this, but its making me so sad that he's leaving right now..I just can't get past it at the moment. If our relationship was on good solid footing and all of these(or I should say at least some) adjustment problems hadn't existed over the past year, I really wouldn't think twice..or at least much..about him going back right now. I know I will miss him from the moment he leaves the house..and it will be another 15 hours or so from that time before he actually gets on the plane....I'm just worried that he will come back and the same things will happen, or he will feel the same about living here. A lot of people have given us really good advice; some we've taken, and some we haven't....but it's much harder to know what to do when really strong feelings are getting in the way. Whether or not we're a 'good match' or 'right' for each other or blah blah..I love him SO much...and it's very hard to face the fact that things might NOT get better..I don't know..and to have him leaving during such strong emotional times is really hard..not that there would ever be a better time I guess. I just thank God I have next week off from school for Spring Break...I've kept in contact with my teachers but had a few days off recently anyway.I just feel overwhelmed with all that's happening right now. Thanks as ever for all your kind words of support, and hope all of you are doing well... (F) M.

edited to say: when I say, it wasn't much better when I got back after the weekend I mean: we missed each other while I was gone..pretty much right away in fact..but after an hour or so we were already being short with each other, etc etc etc

HUGS MICHELLE (F)

I dont really know what to say. Just try and stop with the head bunting untill he leaves on Tuesday. Both of you are going to feel so bad when he leaves for a month if your on bad terms with each other. Its going to make it worse when he leaves for his trip. Just try with all your heart not to fight. Be the bigger person and dont fight back. Walk away. Go to another room. Just do anything you can not to fight with him anymore before he leaves for his trip. Give some hugs instead. Show him what he has to come back too. Sorry if this sounds mean to you in any way. I just hope that things will be better for you and Craig someday soon. Must be so hard on you both (F)
