we are IR and not CR, but I'm not sure that matters.

Called and got our new case number from NVC today. They will tell you that it takes about a month but call everyday to check on it. It only took about 10 days. They told me two days ago to check back the first week of October. I called back today and they had it and were able to give me the new case number. She said she couldnt give me my IIN number because everything wasnt entered yet. She told me to check back in about a week. (I will be calling Monday morning) :-)

Yes CSC is fast, but if there is a problem with your case there is absolutely NO way to get in contact with them. All of the service centers have internal numbers except CA. They quote 30 days to respond to an email (took them 22 to respond to mine). So good luck. It's fast if you don't get an RFE. If you do, then you will really have your patience tested!
