Remember you have to file to adjust status and that will involve showing the two of you have a life together as a married couple. Going to be kind of hard to do if you live on other sides of the country without a really compelling reason.

Why are you living apart? It looks suspicious that you are not together when you file AOS.

That is not going to look very good when you go to adjust status. That will raise a major red flag.

Definitely looks suspicious to the eye. how is it that you file for your fiancee and he is living in one state, and you are several hundreds of miles a way? not gonna look good for AOS

I don't see the point of waiting for someone to get here for a long time and when finally made it to US, you'll be apart? Unless there's some family medical issue for which that person needs to be there.

Are you both going to be in the same state when you get married?

If it is just a visit for a few weeks, before you get married, then it should be okay. You may have valid moral and religious reasons for not wanting to live together before you are married. But once you are married, you should be spending most of your time living together, if possible. If it is not possible, then you need a reason why not and how it is that you two are able to sustain a relationship as husband and wife.

I don't see the point of waiting for someone to get here for a long time and when finally made it to US, you'll be apart? Unless there's some family medical issue for which that person needs to be there.

How about not giving into temptation before you are married. There still are people like that in the world.

The only USCIS centers that process I-129F petitions are California and Vermont, and your petition will be automatically routed from the Dallas, Texas lockbox to the correct one, based on the petitioner's location in the U.S.

Feb. 4, 2013: AOS packet sent (delivered 2/6, NOA1 text/email & check cashed 2/11 midnight)

Feb. 11, 2013: NOA1 notice date for I-485, EAD, AP (I-485/EAD NOA1 hard copies & biometrics appt letter arrived 2/16, badly mangled AP NOA1 arrived 2/27; biometrics done 3/4/13)

Apr. 3, 2013: EAD & AP approved (received card 4/11)

Aug. 16, 2013: I-485 approved & green card production ordered!!!! (card arrived 8/26/13) (193 days)

Dec. 20, 2019: N-400 submitted online (Boston, MA field office)

Sept. 16, 2020: interview, Boston (approved)

Sept. 24, 2020: oath ceremony, Boston---DONE!!! (279 days from submission)

Not trying to upset you, but this will look like immigration fraud to USCIS because you are not living as husband and wife, and there isn't any reason why this is your living arrangement. The purpose of your K-1 is to come marry and live as husband and wife.

If you do not intend to live together, then why apply? I would suggest another type of visa.

After marriage if they live together nothing is wrong with that, thousands of people do not live together before marriage, it is done all the time. I would think people on here would understand that, as all us K-1 filers live far from our fiances, I mean my fiance lives 3000 miles away, but we will live together when married.
