Got our EAD card today

They sent it in an envelope with priority mail. I was expecting ground mail because the government is always trying to save expenses :)

So basically, it came in the regular 2-3 day timeframe that priority mail gets. My fiancee can finally start working and not be bored on the couch all day long!

Hey everybody: please cross your fingers for us. Me and my husband have our interview this Monday (Dec 3rd). I'm a bit nervous even though we have boat loads of ####### that we'll take along....please, please, cross your fingers for us. >.< Thank you! :)

This thread is for family-based applicants with a K1, K2, or K3 Visa. Your timeline says F-1 which is a student visa.

I just looked at your timeline. You didn't file for EAD/AP?

No, I thought we had to pay extra money and we decided not to. Also, my wife is just going to school right now to learn English and she's not planning on working for the time being. Also, we don't have money for her to go outside of the country right now. So, we don't really need it right now. What we do need is the green card so that her college tuition drops to in-state.

Out of state tuition is SO expensive!

I asked because, if you had, it'd around this time that you should be hearing something. Those of us who applied for EAD/AP are getting our approvals, so that kind of helps to know that the ball is rolling.

Hope you hear something soon! good.gif
