We received a second notification text yesterday (11/20) stating EAD/AP card production ordered. First text received 11/15. Hoping this means it's now in the mail...

You will probably get another text on the day it is mailed out. Once we were approved we got 4-5 texts - almost one a day :) they texted when it was approved, when card production was ordered, when it was mailed and when they said it was delivered. :)

I am also a September filer. I filed on September 3rd and got the biometrics done on October 3rd. I am waiting for the green card interview letter. Based on my research, people normally have their interview 2 months after their biometrics which will be in December. We did not applied for EAD since it was not free and from what I saw it was going to arrive just before the green card.

EAD is free when you apply for I-485 ... IF YOU APPLY FOR THAT YOU CAN APPLY FOR EAD FOR FREE!!, a little bit late but now u know hehehe .. I Am sure about that because I sent extra check and they gave it back :)

I'm hoping to be not far behind you - I'm really itching to start job hunting (EAD) and I'd really like to head back to Canada for the holidays (AP)!

The interview and GC I'll be more patient with...

Not yet! We are checking the mail everyday in hopes of an interview letter or some sort of notice about the next step. Would be nice to see an approval from NBC and green card on the way :D

Nope. They got my file on September 3rd. I'm not really sure how long we're supposed to wait since they made some changes on August 1st regarding which offices would process what cases. I still hope the whole process takes an average of 4 months for AOS - K1 applicants. My application is still at National Benefits Center in Missouri according to the website. I have a feeling USCIS is just going to tell you to wait and that the case is not outside of the time limit. I am not sure what the time limit is but probably 6 months. Does anybody know?

No letter here either. We sent our AOS early in Sept and had biometrics 10/3. - My guess is that USCIS is going to tell you that is it well with in normal processing times since there are still people from march waiting for their green cards.
