The NVC schedules interviews in the second week of each month. The second week of October is just 19 days away :)

Only this month due to the month starting with holiday weekend, they scheduled interviews late, and for Mumbai they have even yet to post it on the website. Perhaps next month it will be a bit sooner. I think most of the time first week, they start scheduling, and we will know first week of Oct.

I wasn't in the October forum because that list is on the IR-1/CR-1 subforum. I'm on IR-5. I'm petitioning my mother. There's not much activity in the IR-5 subforum so I usually check for news in the IR-1. :) I keep telling my husband that I'm so glad I'm already here. The process these days is just a lot longer than when I came here on K-1 visa seven years ago!

Well I'm glad you added yourself in this time. It doesn't matter that you are not IR-1/CR-1. Anyone should be able to add here and all of us encourage each other. Especially if they are waiting on NVC to schedule them. Scheduling yourself...now that's another story!

Hi everyone.. I called NVC 4x today. And we got RFE. And guess what they told us? They told us my hubby missed to put a date on the AOS form and the rest are ok already. Its just the date. But it is super duper impossible that he missed the date because we check more than 5x before sending it. He even showed it to me on camera. We were even arguing what date to put coz that time, its only the 7th in his place and 8th on mine. I can't believe NVC will tell us we missed it. :( When we talked to them they only need another set of the AOS form then that's it.When I asked if I can still make it for October interview, they told me that they never stop scheduling interviews as long as the US Embassy in my country has vacant slots. Now hubby's getting ready to send the AOS again. This is really frustrating. What's wrong with NVC?Is this there tactic to delay us? Coz I know someone too who got a checklist and hers is worse. They lost there papers :(

Hopefully, that's true. I might get an October interview. :D I've sent emails to NVC asking whether the interview has been scheduled starting from the time I sent my package because it takes them a while to get to the email. Now, I've been getting an update through emails that my case has been completed and waiting for an interview to be scheduled. That way I don't have to call everyday but still get an update. :D

Come on now that stupid USPS as you said saved you about a 2 to 3 week delay for an RFE. See delayed but not denied always works out in our favour.

We have been waiting over 10 weeks for Ankara. Embassy page for interview dates has not been updated since 9/10

So sorry to hear of this. When was your case closed with NVC?
