I'm going to preemptively join this forum -- hoping my case is closed at NVC by end of September and my interview date is assigned in October for November!!!!!

At this time, we are awaiting for interview dates in November. Follow this topic, and discuss issues that are coming up following case completions in September or Earlier October and celebrate with those who have recieved their interview dates.

Hey thanks for starting this thread, although i have a date already I will be here to encourage you guys all the way

Philippines already sent out their interview dates last week. My case has been completed last Monday, 09/17. When I checked the interview schedule in October, there's still 2 days left. Oct. 23 and Oct. 26. I am still hoping for an October interview date. I have to be positive. I've checked tickets online to keep me busy and for health insurance for my mom.

My hubby woke me saying good news and handed me the phone..to read Case Complete. Thank GOD. Now we ....wait. hahahaha

That's right. Someone needs to keep one going month after month and we need to keep encouraging and advising as the process moves forward! I'm waiting on so many friends to receive their dates now...I want to be part of the blessings too! You do know this will be the thread every month...that will be very addictive! One I look forward to!

October Interview scheduling has been completed at this time. Now we wait until the second week of October in hopes we can get a date for all of us in November

Yes. I emailed them 2 days ago, and the got back to me today stating they are still working on October. You can find the email address on the embassy webiste to assist you in the process.

How exactly did you word the email to the consulate? I wrote the San Sal consulate and they were like "uh, your case isn't here yet so you need to talk to NVC or USCIS." ..... I wanted be like "B**** PLEASE. All I asked was how long it takes!!!"

I doubt it. The consulate has no idea what your case status is, until the NVC has forwarded on to them following case completion. My case is still at the NVC level, until a date is assigned. I contact the consulate to see if they were still scheduling for October or if the NVC had already completed the process.

Even if I get an October date, I am not giving up on this thread. I want to give people hope as they wait for their interview dates.
