Lately it takes up to 8 weeks to get interview date scheduled since case complete. Last Friday, people who have case complete in beginning, middle, end of July and beginning of August getting their appointment letter for October interview. So your relative is gonna get theirs soon, I guess next month at the latest for November interview. I think I will have November interview as well.

Just talked to NVC today and they said they are still waiting for the dates from HCMC so they can start filling in the dates for those of us waiting.

What does "case complete" mean? We mailed in our P3 10 days ago and still haven't received any appoinment date yet.

it has nothing to do with K visa.. it has to do with cr1 cr 2's

Got it! thanks Scott. I was worried because I didn't have the "case complete" status.

Actually you did, thats when they are done at NVC but since its seamless fro K-1's and they send them to the consulate when completed, you don't hear about it. For us, When NVC is done we have to wait for HCMC to send a list of available dates to NVC so we can get our date and then be sent to HCMC... for us we are waiting almost two months after NVC is done with our case... Some still waiting longer than us for a HCMC date.

I'm sorry you have to wait that long for the interview date. May I ask what your reason for expedite?

I know you are an active member of this forum, have you seen anyone with case complete in July or August got their interview date for HCMC?

My case completed on 8/29 and still no interview date scheduled. I guess we will have to wait until second friday of October if it is really true that NVC schedules interview date on 2nd week of the month. I know a lot of people who got case complete in July and 1 early August had interview date on 9/14.
