acceptance for more than one month

Hello VJ family,

I am in the process of Adjustment of Status for K1. I filed I485, I765 and I131 all together on August 4th. I had my biometrics earlier this week. My question is; when I go check the status of my case on uscis.gov it still says acceptance for I485. Why is it taking so long to skip to the next step? I765 and I131 says "initial review"

Is this what happens to everyone or is my case being processed super slow?

My I-485 was on acceptance for over a month and then I received a letter for an interview. You might be get a letter for an interview or letter saying that your case has been transferred. But at this point, you are likely to get a letter requesting your presents for an interview.

The next step is approval or interview. It will be on "initial review" for a long long time, until it is approved. What step are you hoping to get to in such a short time?

that's why I was asking it's not even on initial review yet.

for me the status changed the next day after biometrics.

kinda wondering if the incoming load is way higher now (due to obama's illegals are our friends decision) and thus delays everyone in the initial phase.
