Hi.. I would like to know if its ok to send just 4 photos? My camera got damaged and luckily I got to save 4 pics and a video that was taken by my fiancee when he was here. He was doing the video about me and everybody here at home and at the same time he was also talking in the video while shooting. Would that be enough evidence? Would appreciate responses.. thank you :)

I'm not sure they'll allow videos but go ahead and send those photos. Here's an instruction to convert the videos to still photos (I have not tried this process yet)

I too have the same situation. We didn't know that we're married while I was on a j1 visa and processing a fiancé visa is none of our plans before but after I left we've decided to be together forever. When I was in the states we went to New Orleans and Chicago. We only took 1 picture in N.O and maybe 8 in Chicago, but we have hotel receipts and tickets that we can present in respond to the pictures, both of us are not cash persons so we were swiping our cards then which helps a lot since we will be able to show them that we had the same transaction at this certain time, date and month and year. I guess if you will just tell the consul your camera has been damaged incase he/she will ask, just be honest but try to provide passport stamps, boarding pass and some evidences that he was able to visit you in your country.. I believe pictures are just secondary evidences that will help as well. Please correct me if I am wrong here. Godbless on our journeys.

Photos are secondary....what other evidence do you have?

Four photos may be fine. Of course it may likely depend on several factors.... Like the old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Are they good couple photos? What other evidence are you providing in your I-129F petition? (I am assuming that you are preparing to submit your I-129F petition.) Your petition will be adjudicated on the strength or weakness of your WHOLE petition, not merely one evidence aspect. LIke the VJ guide says,

"Documentary Proof of Having Met in Person in the Past Two Years and an Ongoing Relationship:

Use as many of these items are possible. There is no minimum, but the more you can provide the less likely you are that you will receive an RFE. Additionally, please note that providing proof of your ongoing and genuine relationship in this package may benefit you by allowing the consulate to have access to this information prior to them formally contacting the non US Citizen fiance. Many high risk consulates approach cases with a skeptical eye and providing this information early on in the original I-129F package will help them in their preliminary review of your case."

Good luck on your visa journey.

You could take some pictures of you talking on Skype of your picture in picture to help prove ongoing relationship and show you are together. Since you only have 4 it might help.

Yes. I only sent 1. Attach plenty of primary evidence and you are good to go.

I sent 4 photos with dates and captions of where they were taken, and I didn't get an RFE.

You can send those 4 photos you got and try to take some screenshots of your video that prove you've been in some noticeable places. To print your screen on windows OS you can click on PRTSC SYSRQ and paste your screenshot in some software such Paint (win xp/win vista) for Mac OS you can use this combination of buttons Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 and it will be saved in your desktop. Good luck

Aside from photos, i included hotel/motel receipts, grocery/shopping receipts paid in credit card, our boarding passes, etc. I hope that is already good enough

aside from that you may also include copies of your letters, emails, chat conversations, screenshots of call logs (skype/viber, etc) - these will be of great help if you've got few photos left. :)
