Dear Vjers,

We went on the USCIS site yesterday, logged in our details and discovered we had an RFE. My Fiance called them on their call center numbers to find out what the RFE was for and how to go about replying it, only to be told he has to wait for 15 days to receive a formal mail from them before replying.

Please any information or advice from you guys will be so appreciated :help::help::help::help:

You have to wait till you receive a letter.

It's hard to say what they're requesting for, I guess.

Could there be any red flags?

Big age difference, different religions...

well the only red flag i think there is is that my fiance included only our photos to the forms he sent. no emails, chats, phone call trails...do u think that is it?

Well no one can exactly tell what they want from you, until you receive the letter

There's no way to know for sure until you receive the letter, but if he didn't send any proof other than photos, then yes, that could be the reason for the RFE. Photos are good but certainly not the best evidence of a relationship. I know it's hard to wait but in the meantime, I would start compiling the additional evidence to support your relationship.

Go through this guide/checklist and see if you're missing anything:

If you didn't include all of these items, you may have gotten an RFE for lack of documents, lack of proof, or forms were missing info.

The requirement on initial filing is only to prove that you have MET in the last two years, not proof of ongoing relationship at this point, so it wouldn't be that.

More likely, if he only sent photos, and didn't include copies of boarding passes, receipts from his trip, copies of the passport stamps from the visit, then more likely than not your RFE is for this, that you didn't include sufficient information proving that you've met in person in the last two years.

No big deal if so, but until you get it, there's not a way to know for sure.
