I have found a ton of info regarding visiting a fiance in the US while we wait for the I-129f process.

However, i havent found any info going the other way! I would like to fly my fiance out to my country from the US for a holiday and see the sights.

I feel like this is perfectly valid, but i have no supporting info to back it up.

Help, anyone?

To be clear, i was more interested in whether her leaving the county would be detrimental to the current visa application. I understand that she wont need a visa to enter my country, but since our I-129f is in progress i dint want to take in chances that this could be problematic.

Appreciate the replies!

It will have the effect that you get to spend x amount of weeks in each others company. :) Visiting is fine as long as your country will let your fiancee enter. Has no negative effect on the immigration process.

Go-go-go. : )

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

Hi just to let you know, my fiancé has been he in nz for the past 3 months leaving on the 10'of sept to go back to the USA. It has been amazing spending this time together, and with the process being much faster I am just waiting fir an interview date. So hoping won't be apart for to long.

There has been no reason why he couldn't be here, and financially he has enough that it won't effect his support status.

Hope this helps.

I was having the same thoughts but I guess any other country except the US, is less strict in letting people enter the country.

Plus the fact that you can tell your fiance/fiancee pack light and give them some of your stuff to take back to the US so you won't have to worry much, whether you'll be able to move all the things you want.

That's how I like thinking about it.

Your I-129f was approved in 85 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 225 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS

NOA1: 07/18/13

Biometrics: 08/13/13

EAD/AP approved: 09/17/13

AOS Interview: 10/10/13 (approved)

Hi Celeste & C - yes i had attempted to read that thread, but the first few pages were all of the 'can i go visit my US fiance' not the other way round. There may well be info regarding the opposite scenario - but i thought there would be nothing wrong with having a specific thread, focused on the other question - that can come up in google for other people to find.

Thanks again!
