Hi all,

Here's the situation.

I am a UK citizen

I work for a US company

I currently live in the UK and have no US visa

What am I allowed to do when I enter the US on an ESTA? Am I allowed to work if I am getting paid in a UK bank account? Obviously a potentially contentious issue and I'm keen to get it right!

Many thanks.

With your UK passport you can enter the US for tourism or business purposes, the implication of the latter being that you will be 'working' while you are here 'on business'. To be sure, your stay is limited to a maximum of 90 days, i.e. you are not coming to the US to take up a new job.

Nothing about which to worry!
