Hello, we are sponsering my mother in law for immmigration and we need to get a police report. Unfortunately we have just requested it (eventhough our IV fee request should be coming any day now) and they told us it would take 4 weeks. Is that true? Any options to expedite?

For example she is originally from Sadec, if she goes do that province could it get processed faster?

Should they go back each week to ask about it?

I read one discussion suggesting a bribe... Does that work?

Thanks,

Ezra

I believe that it has to be obtained from the jurisdiction shown on the house book.

A little coffee money often helps in VN.

4 weeks is common.. has to be for where she lives now not where she is from.. They will get the previous locations info on her when they do it... try coffee money.. it cant hurt...

We paid it to get my wifes done overnight.. wasnt cheap and we had great connections in govt... many have not been able to expedite it, or just didnt try the right person...
